Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Government Medical College, Kolhapur is a tertiary care Medical College, established in the year 2000 in Kolhapur. It is attached to the historical Chhatrapati Pramilaraje General Hospital, popularly called as Thorla Davakhana in 1884. The college is affiliated to Maharashtara University of Health Sciences, Nasik. It is recognized by NMC (Former MCI) New Delhi for providing Medical Education for 150 MBBS intake capacity.

It gives me immense pleasure to release the official web site of the prestigious Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Government Medical College & the historical Chhatrapati Pramila Raje General Hospital, Kolhapur. Since its inception in the year 2000-01, this Medical College has progressed steadily over the last nineteen years. Over 1500 students have successfully completed their Medical Graduation and are serving the community and are working in reputed medical institutions, both in India and abroad.
